Gary Curry moved his family from Lansing, MI to Sarasota, FL in 1986 and founded Roofing by Curry soon after. For years, Gary was the sole employee with a helper now and again. As the years passed, he built a great reputation and created the company’s memorable slogan; “Why Worry – Call Curry!” In 1997, when Lakewood Ranch was just starting off, Gary was there installing new roofs and building relationships. As the demand grew for his roofing service, Gary began hiring crews to help with the demand. Today, Roofing by Curry has grown to be the largest residential roofing contractor in Sarasota! Gary is no longer working alone; he is now working alongside his son Jesse and his grandson Jesse Jr. and more than 200 of the best staff and roof installers in town.
